NOTES: These are commonly a starter species of tarantula because they are readily available and not usually very costly. They can be docile at times but love to kick hairs. Some specimens of these species I have found are actually very defensive and not at all docile. Keep them on dry substrate with a water bowl and they will be fine. They will enjoy using a hide if you give them one also, if not given a hide they will probably burrow a little.
