So my neighbor bought his little girls some of those colored baby chicks (BTW am I the only one who thinks it's evil to color baby chicks pink and green?) as an easter present. Well, he gave them to them the day before Easter. They brought them over for me to see them, (I'm their babysitter.)

Everything was fine until about noon Easter Sunday... when they started screaming. I ran out to check on them, and here comes Salem, with a little pink chick in his mouth... Which he proudly dropped on my foot before going inside.

It made me cry. I felt so bad, and they were all crying. And I adore the neighbor kids so I felt bad.

I'm going with them to get another chick tonight but it still won't replace it of course.
