I bought this tarantula that was sold as a "Texas Blond", but I can't find any description of a tarantula by that name anywhere.  I've found the names "Texas Tan" and "Texas Brown", but pictures don't quite match my t.  Can anyone tell me what I have?  Is it Aphonopelma chalcodes, hentzi, or something else altogether?  Sorry my pics aren't that clear either, but I was hoping someone could tell by the colors.  I might have to borrow another camera.

I would also say A. hentzi, but don't trust my answer. North American T's do anything but interest me. Photo ID is pretty speculative also.

Thanks.  It has a much lighter color carapace than other pictures of the Texas Tan or Texas Brown, but darker legs than the Desert Blond (A. chalcodes).  It certainly is the most docile tarantula I have ever kept; much more calm than the Brachypelma smithi and emelias I have kept.

Yea, to me it looks a lot like an A.hentzi. But with aphonopelma's, its basically guesswork if you dont know the T's origon.

I'm not saying that this is what you have, but it looks a lot like it
