2.5 years is in the range i predetermined to be correct :)

it is from this eggsac ( http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/showthread.php?p=586384&high light=rosea#post586384 ), which hatched in september, 2006. i think they are 2y 7-9m. this spider is one of two i have left from a group of 20 originally that i was only feeding every 2-4 months. basically when they get skinny enough i feed them again. i am hoping at least one of the two i have left (traded the rest when igot rid of like 99% of my collection) is a female and will live for 40+ years

you win a cacoseraph's blessings :)

Thanks, but I kind of cheated.  I had no idea on the age, but I remembered you mentioned your experiment on AB a while ago, so I guessed a bit higher than what I thought it was.  I think I remember you said the experiment would be done when you'd be an old man

heh, i don't think that is cheating :)

if you had seen the answer from a clone thread on another forum maybe that would be cheating

but really, it was just a silly little game. i thought ppl might think it is interesting that they are still pretty small

Wow I remember you talking about this forever ago. I'm surprised the experiment is still going on. I wonder if that kind of diet is more comparable to a wild one?

i wouldn't be surprised if this is how the spiders at the extreme edge of their range live
